::: BREAST ENHANCEMENT

Breast Augmentation

By inserting an implant behind each breast, surgeons are able to increase a woman's bustline by one or more bra cup sizes. A breast implant is a silicone shell filled with either silicone gel or a salt water solution known as Saline. The surgery takes 1-2 hours, and stitches will come out in 7-10 days. Swelling may take 3-5 weeks to heal, although you should be able to return to work within a few days.

Breast Reduction

Removes fat, glandular tissue, and skin from the breast, making them smaller, lighter, and firmer. The goal is to give smaller shaped breasts in proportion with the rest of the body. After surgery, you'll be wrapped in an elastic bandage or surgical bra. A small tube may be placed in each breast to drain off blood and fluids for the first day or two. Stitches are removed in 1-3 weeks.

Breast Lift

Removes excess breast skin to raise, reshape, and firm the breasts. The nipples and areolas are repositioned, and the areolas may be reduced in size. Implants may be inserted in conjunction to increase breast volume. In certain cases, small drain tubes may be placed in your breasts to help avoid accumulation of fluids. The drains are removed within a few days, and stitches will be removed in stages over 3 weeks.

Breast Reconstruction

Modern surgical technology makes it possible to construct a natural-looking breast after mastectomy (breast removal) for cancer or other diseases. The procedure is commonly begun and sometimes completed immediately following mastectomy, so that the patient wakes with a new breast mound. Alternatively, reconstruction may begin years after mastectomy. There are several ways to reconstruct the breast, both with and without implants; your surgeon(s) should work together with you in deciding which is the best for you. Breast reconstruction has not been proven to affect the recurrence of cancer or other diseases, chemotherapy or radiation treatment.

Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia)

Although rarely discussed, enlarged male breasts is a common condition.  Gynecomastia affects approximately 40 to 60 percent of men.  There is often no known cause, although there has been some correlation with various drugs or medical conditions. The procedure removes fat and/or glandular tissue from the breasts, and in extreme cases removes excess skin, resulting in a contoured chest that is flatter and firmer.

::: SKIN REJUVENATION

Facial Lines (Wrinkles)

To correct facial lines, there are a few different treatments:

  • Restylane®- A safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness. It is effective up to 9 months and takes 20 minutes to be injected. Minumum swelling may occur.

  • BOTOX®- Blocks nerve transmissions and relaxes the underlying muscles in the forehead, between the eyebrows, and crows feet. It is effective up to 3-6 months. Minimum to no swelling may occur.

Obagi® Products

Obagi is a brand of skin care products designed to develop and maintain healthy skin through an advanced line of cleansers, toners, eye creams, sunscreens, serums and other beneficial products.  There are three different Obagi systems available, each designed for different skin types.

  • Obagi NuDerm helps transform damaged, dry or wrinkled areas into smooth, soft and well-moisturized skin by accelerating the rate of skin cell turnover.
  • Obagi ClenziDerm helps clear acne and prevent future breakouts
  • Obagi ElastiDerm is an advanced eye treatment that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by restoring elasticity and building collagen in the skin.

Excision of Benign & Malignant Skin Lesions

Surgical excision is recommended for malignant (cancerous) and certain benign (non-cancerous) skin lesions. In most cases, curretage is performed after the lesion is numbed via freezing or local anesthesia. A small amount of surrounding tissue is removed as well to ensure that all malignant cells are excised.

Massages

Performed to relieve stress and improve day-to-day performance by relaxing muscles, stimulating circulation and promoting a refreshed, rejuvenated mood. A trained therapist applies pressure to the tense area or areas using a variety of techniques from around the world, often supplemented with aromatic oils, moisturizers, exfoliants or heated stones.

Keloids

Keloids are an overgrowth of scar tissue that forms after a skin injury such as a surgical incision or wound.  A keloid may be red, pink or flesh-colored and forms over the site of the injury as a nodular or ridged growth.  The cause of keloids is unknown, but they are believed to be a result of the body's failure to end the healing process and stop repairing skin.  They may be hereditary as well.

Treatment for keloids is not usually necessary since they are harmless and may disappear over time.  However, for cosmetic purposes, cryotherapy, steroid injections or laser treatments may be used to remove the keloid.

Radiesse®

Radiesse™ is a synthetic injectable filler that reduces wrinkles, creases and scars by augmenting the body’s natural collagen supply. Composed of microspheres in a biocompatible gel, Radiesse is made from the same minerals found in our bones, so it carries little risk of allergic reaction. Radiesse can be used on many areas of the body, including the lips, nasolabial folds, peri-oral lines, depressed scars and oral commissures.

Treatments typically take 15 minutes and require only local anesthetic. Side effects such as swelling or bruising are minimal and should fade within a few days. Results are visible immediately after the injection and can last for months or years, although the procedure can be repeated as often as you wish.
